Tax reports 606, 607 and 608
Where to find the 606, 607, 608 and the IT-1 figures in Ahorra POS, what is a preview and which file you can download.
Every month the DGII asks you to report your purchases (606), your sales (607) and your voided receipts (608), and to file your ITBIS on the IT-1. Ahorra POS builds that information from what you record day to day.
Before you start
- Only administrators (the admin role) see Reports.
- In Preferences › Tax data, enter the RNC and turn on Enrolled with the DGII. Without that you can’t download the 606. See Set up your business.
- The 606 is part of the expenses module, available from the Pro plan. See pricing.
606: purchases and expenses
The 606 gathers the month’s purchases of goods and services with an NCF dated in that month: your expenses and your purchase orders to suppliers. It’s the only one of these reports that gives you the file ready in the DGII’s format.
- Open Reports › Purchases & expenses (or Expenses › 606).
- Pick the Period.
- Check the preview: the number of Comprobantes, the Amount, ITBIS billed, Retained and the line-by-line detail.
- Check Not included, if it shows: it lists what was left out and why (No NCF, Supplier without RNC/cédula, Retention not paid yet (no payment date) or NCF without its date). Fix it in the expense or purchase order and look again.
- Tap Download TXT. The file is named DGII_F_606_ followed by your RNC and the period.
- Submit it in the DGII’s Oficina Virtual.
If there were no receipts in the month, the app tells you so: file it as a zero return in the Oficina Virtual.
607: sales
- Open Reports › 607 and pick the Month.
- Check the table: the sales with a series B receipt that are reported one by one, with RNC or cédula, NCF, income type, amounts, ITBIS and payment methods.
- Tap Download CSV to carry the data into the DGII’s official template.
The Ahorra POS 607 is a preview to prepare the official template, not the file you submit. Keep in mind:
- e-CFs don’t appear: the DGII already receives every electronic receipt. The top of the page shows how many were excluded.
- Consumer invoices (B02) below the amount set by the DGII aren’t reported one by one; you also see how many were left out.
- A B04 credit note appears as a negative amount, with the NCF of the sale it modifies.
- A voided paper sale doesn’t go here: it goes to the 608.
608: voided receipts
- Open Reports › 608 and pick the Month.
- You’ll see the series B receipts voided that month, with their NCF, the Receipt date (the original issue date) and the Annulment type.
- Tap Download CSV to prepare the official template.
IT-1 and IR-17: the month’s figures
For the IT-1, Ahorra POS doesn’t produce a file: it gives you the figures to fill it in.
- Open Reports › ITBIS and pick the Month.
- You’ll see the ITBIS billed (what you charged on your sales, by rate), the ITBIS advanced (what you paid on purchases and expenses with an NCF, the same figures as the 606), what was Withheld from you by customers and the result: To pay on the IT-1 or Balance in your favour, with the due date (the 20th of the following month).
Under Withholdings you see what you withheld from suppliers (ISR goes on the IR-17 and ITBIS on the IT-1) and what your customers withheld from you. Both tabs have Export CSV.
Important: all these reports are an aid to prepare your returns. Review the data and confirm it with your accountant before filing.
Tip: if the ITBIS report warns you about sales without a fiscal receipt, remember their ITBIS still counts as billed. Assign the NCF at the register when you sell so everything adds up.
