Annul sequences with the DGII (ANECF)
How to annul with the DGII the e-NCF you didn't use from a range, who can do it and which numbers can't be annulled.
The e-NCF the DGII authorizes for you and you never use must be annulled with the DGII, for example when a range expires with numbers left over. Ahorra POS does it for you: it sends the DGII the annulment format (ANECF) for a range’s leftover and keeps the answer.
Who can do it
The business’s administrators (admin role), from Electronic invoicing › Sequences. You need your digital certificate uploaded, because the annulment is signed.
What can be annulled
- Electronic ranges (series E) in Active or Expired status that still have unused numbers.
- The leftover is annulled: from the Next number to the end of the range. If the range was never used, the whole range is annulled.
What can’t be annulled
- Numbers already used. An issued e-CF isn’t annulled with an ANECF: it’s corrected with a credit note (see Credit and debit notes).
- Series-B ranges. Only e-NCF ranges are annulled with the DGII; a paper range can only be deactivated here.
- Ranges with no numbers left, that is, Exhausted, Voided or Deactivated.
Annul a range’s leftover
- Go to Electronic invoicing › Sequences.
- On the range’s row, press Void leftover with the DGII.
- Review the confirmation: it tells you how many e-NCF are annulled and which ones (from – to).
- Press Void with the DGII and wait for the answer; the window stays open while the DGII replies.
If the DGII accepts it, you’ll see Leftover voided with the DGII. If it refuses, the same window shows “The DGII rejected the void:” with its messages, and the range stays as it was, so you can keep using it or try again.
Important: The annulment can’t be undone. Once the DGII accepts it, those numbers can never be issued.
What happens next
- The range moves to Voided and has no numbers available.
- Tap the range to see its details. Voids with the DGII keeps the record of the numbers the DGII accepted to annul.
- While the annulment is on its way, sales don’t take numbers from that leftover. If the DGII doesn’t answer, Ahorra POS sends the same annulment again on its own.
Annul or deactivate
On the same row you may also see Deactivate. They’re not the same:
- Void leftover with the DGII tells the DGII. It’s the right step for authorized numbers you won’t use.
- Deactivate is local only: the DGII isn’t told. Use it only if you registered a range here by mistake and it was never used. On an electronic range it’s in the row’s actions menu; if that range is already registered in the Virtual Office, cancel it there too.
Tip: Check the Sequences tab at the end of each month. Ranges flagged Expiring soon warn you in time to request a new one and, once they expire, to annul their leftover.
